Double room was high quality and impressive. The hotel had a particularly good position, to the big fountain.

Value for price
Here always an argument, after booking/authorising thru Booked.net, they (Hotel Staff) want another preautorisation before issuing the room key. I am afraid it might get paid twice for the same.

Staff very courteous and solicitous, room spacious, with a view towards the sea, excellent layout for workdesk, super, roomy bathroom with power shower, good parking at the side with secondary entrance to hotel opposite, excellent breakfast with views to the pool
Lifts slow and cramped, phone by bed but not on desk, access tricky by car on the way in from the airport, essentially on the wrong side of Madinah Road if you have business in town, parking in the forecourt difficult due to the users of the surrounding shops

The hotel of choice in Jeddah. Big size rooms with feather pillows and hypo-allergenic pillows. Particularly good location hard to get to because of lots of road construction with wonderful views. Also - so close to everyone in between, and taxis.
